Fancy-Schmancy Pantry

IT”S DONE! I can’t believe how long it took us to finish things up. Things have been busy with family visiting and stuff, but at long last, here it is!

Here’s a BEFORE of our “pantry”:

Yeah. So we removed the washer and dryer.

Erich patched up the old plumbing and dryer vent and some of the other holes. He then installed shelving…

Which passed the Penelope weight test and inspection…

I loaded it and organized it. I can’t believe how much it holds! It has seriously helped our kitchen storage dilemmas! We also found some doors at the Habitat for Humanity Restore for $15 that worked perfectly! Cha-ching!

The seam between the two doors was not quite perfect, so we simply added a piece of trim to overlap and cover the seam…

Finally, we applied a fresh coat of paint and some new hardware. To give it some cohesiveness to the rest of the built-ins, we also painted the other doors and added new hardware to them as well.

Aaaahhhhh. Much better…
